Home/E-signature
Add electronic signatures to any system you use through a client application. Your users sign documents with their own electronic signature.
Our e-signature integration software lets any system use electronic signatures. The integration runs through a client application on the user’s computer.
Your system sends the document to be signed to the client application. The client has the signature made with the e-signature card or token plugged into the computer and returns the signed document to your system. You do not need to rewrite your system.
How it works
The user selects the document to sign in your system and presses the Sign button.
Your system passes the document to the client application on the user’s computer.
The user selects the certificate on the card and enters the PIN.
The signature is created inside the card. The signed document returns to your system and is saved.
Features
A web application, a desktop program or enterprise software. The type of your system does not matter. We add a connection point that talks to the client.
Users sign with the qualified electronic certificate they already hold.
The private key never leaves the card. The PIN is not sent to your system and stays with the user.
The signature format depends on the document type. For example, PAdES is used for PDF documents and XAdES for XML documents.
A validation step can be added so you can check the validity of signed documents and the certificate in your own system.
The signing step is placed into your system’s existing screens and approval flow.
Legal framework
Under Electronic Signature Law No. 5070, a secure electronic signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature. A secure signature is based on a qualified electronic certificate, is linked only to the signatory and makes it possible to detect any later change to the signed data.
Qualified electronic certificates are obtained from electronic certificate service providers that have notified the Information and Communication Technologies Authority. Transactions that the law subjects to an official form or a special ceremony cannot be made with a secure electronic signature.
